Our next Springfield Bible Conference is scheduled for September 16-18, 2022. Joel Beeke will be speaking on Friday evening and Saturday morning, and Norm Wakefield will be speaking on Saturday afternoon and evening, and Sunday morning. Joel’s wife Mary will be speaking to the ladies on Friday evening.
The theme of the conference will be “The Christian Family.” Individual messages will cover enriching your marriage, family worship, conflict resolution, fathers as leaders, being a godly wife and mother, and raising and protecting your children.
Joel Beeke is president and professor of systematic theology and preaching at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary (Grand Rapids, Michigan), pastor of Heritage Reformed Congregation, and director of Reformation Heritage Books. He has authored, co-authored or edited over 100 books and 2500 articles. This will be his third visit with us. Mary Beeke will address the ladies on Friday night. She is the author of “The Law of Kindness.”
Norm Wakefield is the director of The Spirit of Elijah Ministries, which ministers to families according to Malachi 4:5-6. He is the author of 9 books.
Curt Daniel is our Pastor. He will bring the last message on Sunday evening. He received his Ph.D. in Theology from The University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
Josh Payne will speak to teens and under-30 adults at the Youth Fellowship on Saturday afternoon. He is a member of our church and very active in open-air street evangelism.
The conference is free. There is no need to pre-register. There will be plenty of free handouts to read and listen to. Messages will be livestreamed through our church Facebook page and put on www.sermonaudio.com. There will be a bookstore with large non-profit discounts. Special music will assist us in worship. There will be a nursery and cry room for children 4 and under. There will be a supper and discussion for pastors and elders.
